I would have punched out all of those buggers with in the first five minutes... I know, I know. That's not what Christ would have done, but shoot. This badgering is at the point where it would be perfectly acceptable to defend one's self. And isn't this illegal?!??! Wow.
I honestly don't know what Our Lord would have done. (It is probably safe to say that He would not have clobbered them, but I am not certain that He would have stood there without saying anything.)
I know that as Christians, we can choose the route of extreme Charity and allow ourselves to be "mini martyrs." The suffering inflicted on these people could spiritually serve to save the life of a child, and the soul of a mother.
I think it would be difficult to endure this... I would end up not only defending myself, but then I would probably proceed in "teaching a lesson."
